Highlights of our objectives for creating this website:

•  Showcase the creative talents and great potentials of especially emerging and growing Ethiopian artists in such fields as literature, poetry, painting, photography and digital productions including graphic designs, multimedia, and others.

•  Create a network of Ethiopian artists and institutions such as art schools, to develop a community that shares and exchanges ideas, expertise, and experiences and support each other.

•  Contribute to the growth and development of the arts culture in Ethiopia .

•  Show to the outside world the glimpse of Ethiopian beauty, the country's rich and long history, its colorful and diverse people and culture, through art prisms.

•  Exhibit the resilience, strength and patriotism of the Ethiopian people, their deep love for their country as well as their hopes, fears and aspirations amidst recurring social, political, economic and natural challenges and adversities. Show to the world the Ethiopian people's unshakable wisdom, dignity, patience, unity and purpose both in bad times and good times.

•  Finally, perhaps most importantly, contribute to the social, economic, political and cultural development of Ethiopia by using arts as a communications medium, to promote peace, security, unity, stability and tolerance and nurture democratic values in the country.

•  Use creative arts to explore possible roads that hopefully may bring this beautiful and ancient country closer and closer to the avenue that could take her out of the ‘Vicious Circle of Poverty' and lead her to prosperity.

We know these goals sound too ambitious to accomplish by this modest site. But, we believe art has no limits, bounded only by our imaginations and dreams.

We invite you to freely dream and imagine with us the future Ethiopia by applying your creative potentials and talents to express its good and bad feelings, frustrations, hopes and aspirations as well as its breath taking natural beauty, deep history and diverse population and culture.

We are not shy to show what ever we have. We are hopeful you will show us and your friends and country what you have too. The only criterion we have for our invitation to our party is to show your inspiration, generously, selflessness, love and dedication to our beautiful country, Ethiopia , by freely expressing your thoughts and talents.

We all wish our country to grow, prosper and have a better life in the future than what she has now. But, wishing or praying is not enough. Our country's problems are too complex and enormous to fix quickly by prayer and best wishes alone. They need hard work to secure its peace, security and stability. They need time, patience, and most of all unity, understanding and tolerance-call it democracy. We believe arts can play a key role in this great endeavor.

Let's join our hands to try to lift our country from poverty and seemingly perpetual crisis. We invite you to join us on this long, difficult maze and complicated journey, by way of arts, with your free expressions and imaginations. Share with us your thoughts, writings, paintings, photos, poems, songs or all your creations and let's walk together on this adventurous road. Let's light and carry our candle lights and torches to search for the truth of why our country continues to suffer so much and so long and remains so poor! We are hopeful we will see the glimpse of the solutions from afar! We know they are out there!
